Ford is leading the electric revolution by creating an automotive manufacturing ecosystem in Tennessee and building two battery plants in Kentucky, creating 11,000 new American jobs. These facilities will reimagine how electric vehicles and batteries are designed, built and recycled – all Built for America.

The mega campus in Tennessee is envisioned to be a sustainable automotive manufacturing ecosystem. The $5.6 billion battery and vehicle manufacturing campus will be the largest in the Ford world – built for the next century.

WORKFORCE AND EDUCATION

We are committed to being a good neighbor in west Tennessee. We plan to connect the community to training opportunities through high schools, TCAT’s, colleges, universities and other community organizations. We are hosting and participating in events that will connect job seekers and youth to the advanced manufacturing careers, education opportunities and expose to a growing and exciting industry.

IN THE COMMUNITY

As we begin building BlueOval City, we are equally as active and committed to building a strong relationship in the west Tennessee community. As the project progresses we will seek out and connect with residents, government, academia, private businesses and non-profit organizations to help create opportunities for west Tennesseans.
